Ok so do you know about composition of functions? And what they are asking when you see: (g o f)(x)? What that means is we are inputting the f(x) inside the g(x) function. It looks like this - another way to write it: g(f(x))

So in this case, your (f) function is \[f(x) = \sqrt{x-3}\] And your (g) function is \[g(x) = x ^{2}+1\] Right? So what we do is plug in the (f) function in for the x in the (g) function. That will look like this:
