Hi @diannemarieee So, anytime we want to find a y-intercept all we have to do is set x = 0 into the equation and solve for y.

So if we set x = 0, we get: y = 2(0) - 9 Which gives us y = -9, which means the point (0, -9) is your y-intercept. =0)
