Which of the following equations is the slope-intercept form of 4x - 2y = 8? y = 2x - 4 y = -4x - 8 y = 1/2 x + 2 y = -2x + 4

OpenStudy (satan ):

Slope-intercept form: \(\Large y=mx+b\)

To do this all you have to do is isolate the y variable. Do this by subtracting 4x. You get -2y = 8 - 4x. If you rearrange the right side, you get -2y = -4x + 8. Now divide everything by -2 to isolate the y. y = 2x-4.
