What is special about the triangle?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I'm giving metals.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I'm thinking either Scalene, or Right. But it looks like not enough information. I already drew it out.

OpenStudy (imstuck):

using the distance formula to findd the lengths of the 3 sides, we can not only tell that this is not a right triangle, but that all 3 sides are different lengths. So it is scalene. You're right.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thank you it was scalene!

OpenStudy (imstuck):

it looks like a right trianlge, but it if was, then the (square root of 32)^2 + the (square root of 34)^2 would equal the (square root of 50)^2 and it doesn't.

OpenStudy (imstuck):

Yes it was scalene. good. and TY for the medal. You're true to your word!

Good job @IMStuck
