dude look at any other problem that tells you to prove something by induction. do they have something after the equal sign?
\(1^2+4^2+......+(3n-2)^2=\frac{1}{2}n(6n^2-3n-1)\) I can show you how to prove this...
and since I can prove this, there is nothing else that you could put after the equals sign to make it true. Would you like me to do so?
