1) This would best fix under the subject 'science'. This way, you'll have more people who are a lot more knowledgeable in this subject help, and a quicker reply. (Ya know, instead an hour later)
2) Looking up definitions on 'dictionary.com' or just searching on an average search engine such as 'bing' or 'google' can allow you to get more detailed answers and probably can explain these topics a lot more clearly and correctly than some of the students here (The help you get on here is not always 100% correct). Also, you can probably find something a lot more impressive and intellectual to impress your teacher on a website that speaks about these topics scientifically ;) (Yes, I'm a teachers pet... >.<)
