The Christian symbol, or the symbol of Jesus, is a cross. The cross is a symbol of the atonement and reminds Christians of God's love in sacrificing his own son for humanity. It represents Jesus' victory over sin and death, since it is believed that through his death and resurrection he conquered death itself. The Islamic symbol, or the Muhammad symbol, is a crescent moon and a star. This symbol was adopted by the Muslims from the Ottoman Empire. No one really knows what it means. As far as I know Moses from the Bible didn't have a symbol.
