If I asked for a 'Forever Suspension' could I have it lifted if needed?

Some moderators will do those if you work it out with them. I don't do them because people can just make a new account so it is pointless to suspend them if they really want to use the site.

Most people that ask for these things are because they are having time management issues. There are time management programs you can install that will let you block out sites on a schedule of your own choosing. Much more selectable and lets you get not just OS but also any other social sites that are giving you issues.
