btw astro.... can an electron never be found inbetween the quantized states... like even when its dropping energy levels

Yeah electrons are quite mysterious, and sort of like magic. When they get thermally excited they "jump" to a higher energy level, and they often jump back causing a transition.
Another interesting observation about electrons were, that they could be in two places at once, crazy right? Haha, well I can keep going on about electrons, but it would get very complicated quite quickly :P.

It seems like one of those robots, that's all sensitive and nice, but when everyone is asleep red light goes off and it shuts down the house and takes over all electrical devices and plans to murder the family.

Dark matter detector, Neat. I can't wait for the results. Probably in the future, dark energy will get a detector as well and there will be an explanation of why the universe is expanding.

cool stuff xD the last pic reminds me of how our physics teacher in high school explains these stuff using analogy of "calm people" for neutrons, "aggressive bad people" for electrons and "aggressive good people" for protons ! ty for sharing :3

I was just reading and watching sean carroll lectures on dark matter
