Custom owls making a comeback?

So I know this was a long time ago when we did the custom owls. I stopped making them because I was in a bad place mentally; I was very depressed. I recently started talk to a counselor or therapist or whatever you wanna call it. She said I should do something I enjoy and there's not much I do enjoy besides watching tv. The only time I came close to enjoying myself was when I was making these owls. I know that sounds weird, but it took my mind off things.

Anyway. I decided to start it up again. If no one wants them, it's purely for myself in the end. I'm going to work on them on my own pace. I'm not taking any request, but I'm going to allow people to post on here what they would like to see.

To start this back up, of course I chose to make the Golden Trio!

Its is not a bad idea to bring up this again, (this is my first time seeing custom owls, perhaps i wasn't here when this was brought up).
If you enjoy doing something, then you should never restrain from it. And if you find that, making owl customs make you feel happy then you should do that. :)

it was a long time ago, i don't remember when. but a lot of people got into it. my old computer crashed and i lost most of my owls. i was only able to recover 3 from people who saved them on their own computers

nice, well if you have time and you're passionate about making custom owls, then you can always remake those that you have made in the past.

lol such a pity, @AriPotta; this is why you make another copy and save it at 2 different places on your computer/usb, so that if you lose one copy you can always access the other.

I'm apart of the Owl Team. Back in the day, we had some fun. But sadly, we disbanded because we all went our own ways. But I'd love to get back with you @AriPotta and make some owls.

the whole request thing took the fun out of it and stressed me more than inspired me. i'm ok with other people making owls too, in fact, i encourage it. i'm just not gonna team up with anyone because last time, that was the reason i stopped. no offense to you or anyone else, but i'd just like to keep to my own owls :) i hope you understand. i'm not trying to be a jerk or anything. you can definitely make owls on your own. i think it's better that way

i have batowl! i couldn't decide if i liked the cape or not, so i'm just going to post both versions, with and without the cape :/ with the cape, the tail is sticking out. i didn't know what to do with it lol. you can decide which one you want :)

Well I started with the owl template, made it skin color, then I added the eyes, hair, and boots. rest (costume, wings and energy balls) is all custom made :P

LOL. Mine is pretty basic. Thom's is a lot better end result. Just looks like the eyes were snagged from something. And I think the way he dd hair effect comes out better for the small size. Mine has more texture, but that does not translate to much when small.
