how do you write the degree symbol in Latex?

OpenStudy (abhisar):

\(\large\sf Alt \ + \ 0176\)

OpenStudy (camerondoherty):

do you press everything at the same time?

OpenStudy (abhisar):

yes ! and use num pad to enter the numerals

hartnn (hartnn):

or you could just use 'o' \(\huge 30^o\) not bad :P `\(\huge 30^o\)`

OpenStudy (abhisar):

\(\huge 30°\)

OpenStudy (accessdenied):

Another possibility is using a superscript circle ( \circ ) instead of superscript o. \( \huge 30^\circ \) Whichever one you prefer, though, should be fine. :)

OpenStudy (unklerhaukus):

to get x° in pain text or latex, after [x] hold [shift] and hold [option/alt] the press [8] \[x°\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

90°
