I haven't taken chemistry so I know nothing of my physics homework.. help me? "If you were given initial and final velocities and the constant acceleration of an object, and you were asked to find the displacement, what mathematical relationship would you use?" Is it asking me for Algebra 1, Geometry, Pre Cal? Those mathematical relationships? :/

OpenStudy (ipwnbunnies):

I'm pretty sure the only concepts used would be Algebra relationships. The relationships between these concepts is simple. \[\Delta v = v_{final} - v_{initial} = a*\Delta t\] \[\Delta x = \Delta v * \Delta t\]

Thankyou! But how would it be algebra? :o
