OpenStudy (anonymous):

well so 6x - 3 + 5x + 2 + 3x = 14x - 1 = 41

OpenStudy (anonymous):

can u solve for x then?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Now, how would I do that?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well you can add 1 to both sides : 14x -1 + 1= 41 + 1 --> 14x = 42 and now divide both sides by 14 and simply write : x = 3

Ah, I see. I'll try that on a similar problem. Thanks!

you're welcome ;)
