the function f(x)= 0.75^-x is an example of a exponential growth funtion? true or false

OpenStudy (anonymous):

An exponential function just means the x is in the power location, or the exponent location. Growth means the base value must be greater than 1 Decay means the base is less than a value of 1. For you the x is in the exponent equation. And the base is 0.75, with is less than 1.

thank you for the amazing explanation. now i know what to do .. thank you

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The negative on the x makes the whole thing change from a decay to a growth Make sense?

yess.. thank you
