OpenStudy (anonymous):

find the derivative of x 9^x, do i differentiate first or do i do log properties first

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Take the natural log of both sides, which allows you to move the power in front for the right side. Then differentiate both sides, remember to use product rule on the right side. Finally solve for dy/dx. Good luck.

so then it would be lnx and xln9 then do i do product rule?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sorry I helped as much as I could. I dont know the rest

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok

OpenStudy (anonymous):

at first use the product rule
