HELP ME PLEASE What is the minimum number of degrees that an equilateral triangle can be rotated before it carries onto itself? A. 90 B. 60 C. 45 D. 180

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

picturing the rotation in my head, I see that even 180º rotation would make it look upside down comparing to the initial triangle.

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

90º doesn't work either, it makes it be sideways. and so doesn't 45º makes it be diagonal comparing to the original triangle. and so does 60º rotation doesn't give the desired result. Unless, I am misunderstanding "carries onto itself" .

Meaning like it will overlap itself.

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

like it will be facing the same exact way as the original shape ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I'm pretty sure

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

not clear to me, but looks like 60º is probably it, (looking at all angles of 60º) I wouldn't say this for sure though.

I think it is asking what would be close to sitting close to it or something
