Political: The Japanese were separated into different groups as depending on their ranking, or what they did, i.e.: whether or not they smelt iron/bronze. Their social lifves included: Emperor at the top, followed by the Shogun, Daimyo, Samurai and finally peasants (farmers, merchants, crafts people) The peoples Religious views were mostly Buddhism
