the length of a rectangle is 15 inches and is dilated to 30 inches. What is the scale factor?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ok so scale factors are written as Ratios. eg. 3:1, 5:1, 3:4, etc. So if we have a rectangle with a length of 15, it looks like this: |dw:1405882052507:dw| But then it is scaled to 30. Which looks like this: |dw:1405882080361:dw|

So if we have a comparison like this, then we can say its a 1:3 ratio. |dw:1405882145423:dw| So what is your best guess to the scale factor?
