Okay, well here's two reasons why  the extinction of other species negatively affect human society..

Let's say honeybees go extinct. Do you have any idea how many crops depend on bees for pollination? 

How about chickens, cows, and pigs? What if they were to go extinct. Those animals give us the meat humans eat everyday.

If predator animals go extinct, then some animals would become to many, like rats, maybe.

pretty much any species below the top predators will affect them. smaller population of prey organisms will hurt the top predators

How about bats? If bats were to go extinct, then there would be a lot of mosquitoes! Bats eat a lot of mosquitoes every night in the summer. :)
