What's an example of hasty generalization?

OpenStudy (tanya123):

Description of Hasty Generalization. This fallacy is committed when a person draws a conclusion about a population based on a sample that is not large enough. It has the following form: Sample S, which is too small, is taken from population P. Just Google it.

I asked for an example, not the description. XD If I wanted the definition or the description of what hasty generalization meant I would of googled it. :) Thanks for replying though.

OpenStudy (tanya123):

Example : My father smoked four packs of cigarettes a day since age fourteen and lived until age sixty-nine. Therefore, smoking really can’t be that bad for you.
