Hmm.

Crater Lake in Oregon is a roughly circular lake. The lake basin formed about 7000 years ago after an immense volcanic explosion. Hillman Peak, Garfield Peak, and Cloudcap are three mountain peaks on the rim of the lake. The peaks are in a coordinate plane at H(4, 1), G(2, 3), and C(5, 2). If you graph the three given points and connect them with a straight edge to form a triangle, how can you find the coordinates of the center of the lake? A) Find which angle in the triangle is 90ยบ, then find the midpoint of the hypotenuse. B) Use the Distance Formula to find the midpoints of two sides of the triangle. Connect these points with a straight edge and find the midpoint of this segment. C) Draw perpendicular bisectors of two sides of the triangle and identify their point of intersection. D) Use the Distance Formula to find the lengths of two sides of the triangle. Then find the midpoint of these sides and connect them with a straight edge.

Basically all of this question is useless information, just think of the question as this: How do you find the midpoint of a triangle? That is all it's asking.
