Use addition or substitution to find the value of y for this set of equations. 12x - 5y = 30 y = 2x - 6

OpenStudy (agreene):
since one of the two is already solved, it would be quicker to do a subsitution: y=2x-6 so 12x-5(2x-6) = 30 solve that to find x and then use that number in the 2nd eqn (y=2x-6) to find the value of y.
