If f(x) = 4x-7 and g(x) = 2x+4 evaluate f(x) + g(x) for x=-3

So, you can do this one of two ways: substitute x= -3 in to both f(x) and g(x) and find their numeric values and add those together, or you can add the two equations and then put in -3 for x.
