2. the hydrostatic force on a 2 square meter plate must be 50N to exert a force of 100N on a 4 square meter plate immersed in the same fluid.

3. the pressure on a 6 square meter plate must be is twice as great as that of a 3 square meter plate immersed in the same fluid
