Find the point on the terminal side of θ = negative three pi divided by four that has an x coordinate of -1. Show your work for full credit.

negative three pi over 4 is the same as negative 135 degrees. I don't know about you, but my mind doesn't work very well in radians, so I switched it to degrees. If this angle is a negative angle it goes clockwise around the plane as opposed to counterclockwise, as do positive angles. So this one, -135 degrees, is in QIII. It's coterminal angle is negative 45 degrees. It is set up like this:
