HELP PLEASE Becki is building an enclosure for her rabbits against the side of her house. Find the perimeter of the enclosure if she built it in the yard without the house as a wall. PICTURE ATTACHED IN COMMENTS :)

in order to find the perimeter of anything you have to add together all the side lengths. Granted we do not know what those lengths are, but we can still add them up, just using the variables along with the numbers. We will have two sides measuring 2n + 6, and two sides measuring 4n + 8. So 2(2n+6)=4n+12, and 2(4n+8)=8n+16. Add all those together and get 12n + 20

careful here are you supposed to count the side against the barn?

OpenStudy (imstuck):

yes...read the question.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh, yes you are good point!

OpenStudy (imstuck):

It says what would be the perimeter is she built the enclosure away from the house in the yard (not using the house as a side).

thanks!
