@tkhunny

OpenStudy (tkhunny):

You HAVE to show your work. You can't just post a problem. What are your calculations? How close did you get? What's your plan for a solution? What section are you studying in your text book or course materials. There has to be SOME clue what is going on in your head.

OpenStudy (tkhunny):

The difficulty is that you did not tell us we were to be using the Empirical Rule. You should have told us that up front! A: Both z-scores are 2. Should be 95%, not 97% B: Both z-scores are 1. Should be 68%, not 95% C: Both z-scores are 1/3. We've already established that 68% is +/- 1, so this is way less than that. D: Both z-scores are 3. Should be 99.7%. Oops! We may have tripped over it.

OpenStudy (zab505):

Ah C?

OpenStudy (tkhunny):

How did you get that out of my presentation? Read it again.

OpenStudy (zab505):

Wait B?

OpenStudy (zab505):

Closest

OpenStudy (tkhunny):

I'm a little stunned that you're not seeing it. A, B, and C have comments suggesting they are the wrong answer. D has no such comment.

OpenStudy (zab505):

Wow, I'm so sorry and thank you so much!
