OpenStudy (nikato):

first find CB

OpenStudy (anonymous):

AB=15cm CB=15-8=7cm then use this formula AC*CB=CD*CE

OpenStudy (nikato):

which is 15-8 so CB=7 next, you find CE using the two chord theorem which states AC * CB= DC * CE let CE=x so 8*7=4x once you find x add 4 to it to find DE

OpenStudy (anonymous):

AC*CB=CD*CE 8*7=4*CE CE=14 ED=14+4=18

thank you both!
