find angle three if angle 2 is equal to 116 degrees and angle one is equal to 34 degrees. I understand how to do other stuff like this but this one has me stumped. (image to be attached)

okay well using common sense angle 3 is an acute angle so it must be less than 60.
the answer is 34 due to the alternate interior angle theorem.
thank you! what is the alternate interior angle theorem? is it that one that states the opposite angles are the sum of the exterior angle?

if they are inside the parallel lines and they are alternating then it is interior alternating angles if it is outside of the parallel lines then it is alternating exterior angles.
