Nope -8-4 = -12 we can think of doing this on a number line, this is very important so I'll show you what I mean. |dw:1405955740348:dw| So you see this number line, you have -8 and you want to -4 from it (fyi -8 + -4 => -8-4) so jump 4 paces to the left.
