Do you remember how to find the dot product?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

2 vectors are orthogonal if their dot product=0

OpenStudy (anonymous):

is that 6(2)+-2(6)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so that would equal 0, then it would be an orthogonal?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thank you :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes it is! And that is the same as 0, so they are orthogonal. To find if they are parallel you find the cross product of the vectors instead of the dot product.
