@ganeshie8

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

when you see a proportion like this, the immediate thing to try is to `cross multiply`

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

\[\large \dfrac{x}{9} = \dfrac{3}{x+6}\]

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

heard of `cross multiiplying` before ? :)

Nnesha (nnesha):

x^2 + 9x -27=0 i got this

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

Excellent ! next, see if it can be factored

Nnesha (nnesha):

no i can't get perfect factoring

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

try again, it can be factored

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

Oh wait a second, there is a small mistake in the equaiton

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

you should get : x^2 + \(\color{red}{6}\)x -27=0 right ?

Nnesha (nnesha):

oh yeah ohh that's why i didn't get the answer :(

Nnesha (nnesha):

thanks

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):
