Help me solve this inequality please. X^2 >-16

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The opposite of the square root, so you take the square root of both sides \(\sqrt{x^2}>\sqrt{-16}\), you can't take a square root of a negative number without it being imaginary.

OpenStudy (aum):

x^2 is ALWAYS positive. Therefore it will be ALWAYS greater than a negative number. So x is ANY real number.
