The spoke of a wheel reaches from the center of the wheel to its rim. If the circumference of the rim of the wheel is 27 inches, how long is each spoke? Round your answer to the nearest hundredth.

OpenStudy (aum):

Each spoke forms the radius 'r'. Circumference = \(\large 2\pi r = 27\) Solve for 'r' and that will be the length of each spoke.

I don't have a way to solve the problem and I cant do math in my head...lol

OpenStudy (aum):

Use a calculator to divide 27 by (2*pi) Round your answer to the nearest hundredth.
