Can someone help me understand how to answer this question please? A system of linear inequalities is shown below: y ≥ -2x - 2 y + x ≥ 0 Describe the steps to graph the solution set to the system of inequalities

OpenStudy (kva1992):

i would start by moving the x over

OpenStudy (anonymous):

but im not sure how to do that

OpenStudy (kva1992):

its just like an equation so you would get y ≥ -x

OpenStudy (kva1992):

and just explain how you would graph that

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh ok thank you so much, I suck at math

OpenStudy (kva1992):

best way to understand it is looking at a graphing calculator that why you can see how the inequality is shaded in depending on your > or ≥

OpenStudy (kva1992):

and you are most welcome glad i was able to be of assistance

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i don't have one but i can figure it out

OpenStudy (kva1992):

alright cool

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thanks

OpenStudy (kva1992):

https://www.desmos.com/calculator or http://my.hrw.com/math06_07/nsmedia/tools/Graph_Calculator/graphCalc.html take a look at those they both look like useful calculators

OpenStudy (anonymous):

kk thanks so much ur a life savor

OpenStudy (kva1992):

anytime hmu if you need more help ill do my best to assist ya
