A gas station sells 1300 gallons of gasoline per hour if it charges $ 2.40 per gallon but only 1000 gallons per hour if it charges $ 2.90 per gallon. Assuming a linear model How many gallons would be sold per hour of the price is $ 2.65 per gallon? What must the gasoline price be in order to sell 800 gallons per hour?

OpenStudy (masumanwar):

The data given here shows that when the price increased the sell in gallon per hour decreased so we may predict at the price $2.65 the gallon per hour will lies between $2.90 and $2.40 and if sell 800 gallon per hour the price will be more then @ $2.90
