Probability and Statistics problem, https://i.imgur.com/AqgLJ4b.png Why is X bar = 25 shouldn't it be equal to 100 as the population mean is listed as 100 in the question and 25 = n

OpenStudy (australopithecus):

The topic is, "Point Estimation and Sampling Distributions"

OpenStudy (australopithecus):

I just dont understand why the question states that the Mean of the population is 25, when it says in the question it is 100, is this just a mistake in the answer? Or am I missing something?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Must be a typo I think. In any case, the exact number isn't needed, so whoever typed up the solution must have not paid it any mind.

OpenStudy (australopithecus):

Alright thanks.
