What is the domain and range of the quadratic equation y = -3(x - 10)2 + 5? A)Domain: All Real Numbers Range: y greater than or equal to 5 B)Domain: All Real Numbers Range: y less than or greater to 5 C)Domain: All Real Numbers Range: y greater than or equal to 10 D)Domain: All Real Numbers Range: y less than or greater to 10

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

hint : domain = x values range = y values

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

\[\large y = -3(x-10)^2 + 5\] Notice that (x-10)^2 is always positive no matter what the x value is, that means you're subtracting something positive from 5, so the result will always be LESS than 5, right ?

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

consequently the range is : \(\large y \le 5\)
