You have been blindfolded in the school grounds, somewhere near the main sports stadium. Suggest a method that would allow you to estimate how far away the stadium wall is. What possible factors may make your method less useful?

one of the best method to get approx idea how far is the wall is to use sound , speak loudly if there is echo then distance of wall is more than 16.5 meter approx (may differ according to environment ).
and second method walk straight ( if possible ) until you hit your nose to wall . count steps use some basic mathematics and get your distance where your nose was safe .
