But you are supposed to get x = 6 and x = 0

So which is the proper value of x?

Remember that x doesn't really represent anything by itself.
But your dimensions are x-2 and x-4

Try replacing x with 0 and 6, and you'll see that only one value of x actually gives plausible dimensions ^_^
