How to solve linear function??
I'm not quite getting what you mean... What do you want to do with linear functions?
How to solve this.. g(x) =x2(square) + 2x-1 by using this: x -3 -2 -1 0 1 2 3 y
\[\Large g(\color{red}x) = \color{red}x^2+ 2\color{red}x - 1\\\Large \left.\begin{matrix}{\color{red}x}&-3&-2&-1&0&1&2&3\\\color{blue}y&&&&&&&\end{matrix}\right.\]
Each time, just replace \(\color{red}x\) with a number in the x-row. For example, start with -3. \[\Large g(\color{red}{-3}) = \color{red}{(-3)}^2+ 2\color{red}{(-3)} - 1\\ \Large g(-3) = 9 - 6 + 1\\\Large g(-3) = 4 \\ \Large \qquad \\\Large \left.\begin{matrix}{\color{red}x}&\color{red}{-3}&-2&-1&0&1&2&3\\\color{blue}y&\color{blue}4&&&&&&\end{matrix}\right.\]
Try it with -2.
