I was writing a story and I was out of words when I needed to describe the expressions on the face of a person after defeat. Could anyone help me? Basically I am looking for some adjectives and ways to describe someone after defeat.

Well, descriptions would include things like:
-slumped shoulders
-half shrug
-blank/hopeless eyes
-a frown, or even a wide grin (if the person is a team player)
-slowness to movements

Sayings would be something like:
-Oh Well
-Can't be helped
-You win
