when dividing fractions you need to find a common denominator multiply 3/4 by 3 to get the denominator to 12 \[\frac{ 5 }{ 12 }\div \frac{ 9 }{ 12 }\] next you do KCF Keep Change Flip 5/12 * 12/9 5 times 12 = 60 12 times 9 = 108 \[\frac{ 60 }{ 108 }\] Now you have to reduce that they are both dividable by 12 so the final answer is \[\frac{ 5 }{ 9 }\]
