Use the ordered pairs to write a function rule. Give the rule in the slope-intercept form. (–12, 1.5), (−1, –1.25), (5, –2.75), (8, −3.5)

Okay you only need to pick 2 points to do this, so we can ignore the other 2. Lets use \((-12,1.5) and (8,-3.5)\) now use the formula for slope: \(\large\frac{y2-y1}{x2-x1}\) Here x1=-12, x2=8, y1=1.5 and y2=-3.5 can you plug those into the formula?

thanks got it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You know how to put it into slope-intercept after that ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ill figure it out

but thanks for the help
