how to you find the area of a triangular wege ? i dont need answer i just need to know if you have to multiply, add, subtract or .. etc the triangle is 15mm and 18mm ( square millimeters)

if we know the height and the width, the a triangle is just half of a rectangle. area = hw/2

but without knowing what 15 and 18 are refering to about the triangle, i got no idea what to do with those
