Nadia closes the nozzle of the funnel and fills it completely with a liquid. She then opens the nozzle. If the liquid drips at the rate of 10 cubic inches per minute, how long will it take for all the liquid to pass through the nozzle? (Use π = 3.14.) 2.51 minutes 7.53 minutes 4.18 minutes 3.14 minutes

radius = 2 height of 6

Is there an image or diagram that comes with this question?

OpenStudy (imstuck):

The volume of the full nozzle is 75.38 cubic inches.

OpenStudy (imstuck):

@amistre64

OpenStudy (amistre64):

this isnt calculus so much as determining the volume and dividing it by its rate of flow

OpenStudy (amistre64):

if we know how many 10s are in the volume: V/10 then we know how many minutes it will take to drain at 10 per minute.

OpenStudy (imstuck):

oh! So the volume at 75.38 divided by 10 gives 7.538! OHM you're a Godsend, @amistre64!

OpenStudy (amistre64):

it was elementary my dear watson lol

OpenStudy (imstuck):

oh yeah, right. Don't say it's elementary when no one else got it.
