Find the value of x.

Alright so, since a 90 degree angle is formed using the point in the middle, we can say that is the midpoint.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay @Cosmichaotic

OpenStudy (anonymous):

A line drawn from the midpoint of the circle to an outside edge is called a radius. We have a radius there labelled with another line as 67 degrees, and it is next to the 90 degree angle. This means we can add the 67 degrees with the 90 for a total of 157 degrees.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Cosmichaotic thats it!? :o Its that simple???

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Now the x degrees is all that's leftover of the 180 degrees that the diameter line forms. So we need to find the difference of 180 and 157 degrees to find x.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

180 - 157 is what?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

23 @Cosmichaotic

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Nice! Ok, so that is what x will be! x is whats leftover from the 67 degree angle paired with the 90 degree angle!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Awesome thank you so much for your help :) @Cosmichaotic

No problem my friend. Add me if you like and I will help when I'm on and can =0)
