For this assessment, you must demonstrate your understanding of conflict in Act III of Romeo and Juliet by identifying passages from the play that illustrate two different types of conflict. 1. Select two of the following characters: Romeo Juliet Mercutio Tybalt Capulet Nurse 2. Once you have selected two characters, look at the script for Act III. Find passages that you believe accurately portray both characters’ conflicts. 3. Identify whether these conflicts are Man vs. Man, Man vs. Society, Man vs. Nature, or Man vs. Self. Explain your answer using proper spelling and grammar. 4. Review the grading rubric for the assignment. 5. In the Assessments area, submit your analysis of two characters’ conflicts in S2.02 Analyzing Romeo and Juliet Act III.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

did you save any of the assignments?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no, i'm sorry, i didn't however, Romeo Mercucio and and tybalt would probably be the easiest for this one:/

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay so I chose romeo and tybalt

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I don't understand question 2 and 3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Okay, so do you know what the different types of conflicts are?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

man vs man, man vs self, man vs nature, man vs society

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i would say that Tybalts conflict would be man vs man because he is quite obviously fighting Mercucio. Romeo's conflict would be man vs. self because he is battling with himself over whether to fight with his friend Mercucio or whether to stay out of it in respect for Juliet and her family. then you just need to find evidence in the text to support this:)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

omgosh thank you soo much! I appreciate it, out of all the people I generally asked, your the only one to help me and I really appreciate it!! :DD so if I need help next time, can I come to you again if its fine?
