D. 4n+8 Here's a way to approach this You know the first term of the sequence is 12 so write : 12+... Then each consecutive number has a difference of 4, as in 12+4= 16; 16+4= 20 etc,... so we got: 12+ 4(n-1). simplify we got: 12+ 4n - 4 which is 4n + 8 Answer D
