Although your body has several lines of defense to fight off infections, it is very important to do what you can to avoid the pathogens entering your system in the first place. Although it seems simple, washing your hands is one of the most important things that you can do to keep yourself from catching many of the common infectious diseases such as a cold or flu.

For this assignment, you will be completing a hands-on laboratory investigation that demonstrates the importance of hand-washing.

I did this project a while ago when I was taking biology, it took me forever to finish it!
What they're asking you to do is do a lab. In the lesson, they should give you a worksheet to fill out.. do you have it?
